PART 1
1 large red onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
Curry powder (a few tablespoons)
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cups sliced potatoes
1/2 cup sliced carrots
Water
Add all ingredients except potato and water and sauté at medium high for 5 - 10 minutes. Add potatoes and some water and let simmer until potatoes are cooked.
PART 2
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 head red cabbage
2 cups chopped cilantro
Sauté cabbage in oiled pan. Put the garlic, cilantro, and a bit of oil into blender and puree until liquid. Add this liquid to the cabbage and mix entire contents of Chili Curry, part 2 with Chili Curry, part 1.
